NICK OFFERMAN'S FULL BUSH TOUR
"PADDLE YOUR OWN CANOE" BOOK SIGNING
MODERATED BY PETER SAGAL
This evening, join Nick Offerman, along with a special guest, for a discussion about his new book, Paddle Your Own Canoe and meet him for a book signing after the show. The show is estimated to last 75 minutes and ticket price includes the book.
Nick Offerman, a Joliet native, is best known for the role of Ron Swanson on NBC’s hit comedy series Parks & Recreation, where he co-stars alongside Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe. He won a Television Critics Association Award for Achievement in Comedy in 2011 for this role and earned his first nomination in 2010. He also received two Critics’ Choice Television Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
Offerman got his start in the Chicago theater community, where he was a founding member of the Defiant Theatre. He also just toured and recorded American Ham, a musical-comedy with Megan Mullally (Will & Grace star and, coincidentally, his wife). He received a Joseph Jefferson Award for his performance in The Kentucky Cycle, at Chicago’s Pegasus Players Theatre and was awarded anoter for the puppets and masks he crafted for The Skriker, at the Defiant. He also worked at Steppenwolf, The Goodman, Wisdom Bridge and Pegasus Players, among others.
Fun fact, Nick also owns his own wood-working shop, Offerman Wood Shop. Who would have thought?
